Question: Are there any sites with good access for Starlink and satellite mounted on roof of motorhome?
Answer:
Aloha Nancy: I agree with fellow RVers who suggest calling management regarding your requesst for a Stralink friendly site. The RV operates on a seasonal basis, but office staff might be available year-round. Note: During the summer months the park's extensive tree cover offers shade from often blistering hot daytime temps. If your Starlink reciever really needs a clear sky view you might struggle to book an appropriate site. However, consider that the park's decent wifi coverage may may meet your basic needs. During our stay we often switched between the park's wifi and our Verizon hotspot....
Question: Is there a beach or any place to swim in the sound directly from the campground?
Answer:
Aloha Bonnie: I suggest logging on to your favorite maps app to research an answer to your question. My reseach showed that there appears to be no designated swimming beach in the immediate vicinity of the RV park. The park's website provides the following info: If you are joining us in the summer time be sure to take advantage of our pool overlooking the sound and pavilion area. We ask that you swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty. Note: The park's pool is adjacient to a very larrge pond (small lake) with a distant view of the sound....
Question: Which greenway (biking) is accessible directly from the campground ?
Answer:
Aloha JB: As another RVer has noted, there is a paved walking path and adjacient bike lane at the entrance to the RV Park. Assuming that you choose to bike toward metro DC, there is also just enough space to ride on the side of Cherry Hill Road toward the College Park area - you will need to use caution while riding the several hundred yards where the road narrows while crossing the I-495-freeway. About 500 yards after crossing the freewy you will reach the spot on Cherry Hill Road where the Painted Branch Bike and Walking Trail begins. Just log on to Google Maps for the exact directions....
Question: What is wi-fi connectivity like?
Answer:
Aloha Mr Jimmy! While every year brings with it the hope for wifi infrastructure upgrades, I will suggest that your fellow RVers will generally agree that wifi connectivity within the campground depends on campsite location. I believe wifi service is currently available if you book a premium site; however, I've not read any reviews on its speed or reliability. From personal experience, several years ago, I recall that our Verizon cell and hotspot service ranged from non-existent to acceptable for basic internet use....

Question: Can you fill up your rv with water when arriving at the campground? Or do you need to plan to fill up elsewhere before arriving to the campground.
Answer:
Aloha Jay-Jay: Unless there is a disruption in service, potable water should be available at several water spigots in the "dry" campground and at the dump-station. Given that it's a long drive from the entrance of the park to the "dry" campground and that there always seems to be some sort of disruption in basic services (e.g. Water access, showers and washers not working, as well as intermittent campsite flooding), I suggest filling your water tanks, your propane tanks, and you fuel tanks before entering the park. NOTE: Before arrival log on to the park's website to confirm that scheduled construction activity and the federal government's plans to lay-off of park staff has not closed or limited access to any park facilities (e.g. Visitor centers, gas stations, convenience store, hiking trails, un-paved roads, etc....
