The eligibility criteria for all Famcamps are:Who Can Use Military Recreation Centers & Facilities (FamCamps)Military retirees and families.Medal of Honor Recipients.Purple Heart recipients.Former Prisoners of War.Veterans with service-connected disabilities (VA documented disability rating)If you have the paperwork and can present it at time of reservation and check in; you should be admitted if sites are available. This is a busy park during the winter season, so reservations are almost mandatory....

Yes, any Veteran that is disabled with a letter from the VA stating he is disabled even if he is rated at 0 percent he is entitled and also has a lot of benefits that retirees have like commissary and exchange/PX as well. The DOD policy does give the CO of the base to modify that policy. I would recommend you call the campground office just to make sure....

The answer is YES. You’ll need to be able to get in the gate with an Active Duty or Retired ID card first then show the same ID card to the nice folks that works in the Desert Eagle FamCamp. I don’t think Disability percentage rating is a requirement to utilize the RV park, that would be wrong....
