Sun Oct 07 2018Many reviews advise against taking Rattlesnake Road, however the alternate road/bridge is closed indefinately. We are travelling in a 40 ft motorhome and would like your opinion about crossing the wash on Rattlesnake Road. Thanks all....

I do not know anything about Rattlesnake Road; don't know where it is at all. When we went to Angel Fire, we drove from the south and the manager told us to take 434 north out of Mora, and NOT to take 120 from Wagon Mound. If you are looking for the safest route, it looks like Hwy 58 to Cimarron would be a good bet, or Hwy 64 from Raton. For a last resort, you can take Hwy 64 from Taos to Angel Fire....
