Aloha Fishback: It's only a guess but modifying a registration will likely depend on whether the park entrance office is open or closed at the time of your arrival and whether park staff are allowed to manually override the park's reservation system....

Hi, if you book a site and then find you'd like a different site, ask at the entrance booth. Increasingly campgrounds are charging for EVERYTHING, including changing a site, but not sure about this COE campground. Every site at Gunter Hill (in the full hookup Catoma loop; Antioch loop is sometimes closed) is excellent, so even if you have to choose sight unseen you can't go wrong. I often use campground maps and Google maps to find the best looking site to my eye. Gunter Hill is a great campground and we've stayed multiple times. The sights in Montgomery are impressive and worth a few day visit. Jay...

Yes but I will say in the new loop there are no bad sites. All sites there are very large, paved and full hookups....

I have not done this so I can only quote my beliefs. The reservation rules state : There are no additional fees for: Adding or removing nights to your stay. Changing to a different campsite. Balances will adjust based on your new stay's nightly rate.So I believe you could change reservation your self on the reservation site provide your choice is open for nights needed. The Host may be able to clarify this. Call them at 334-269-1053 they were helpful to me when I needed guidance to ship a parcel to camp prior to my arrival....

I presume you can; I base this answer on the experience of staying at other COE campgrounds as we had a reservation at Gunter Hill that we liked....
