Yes, 2 years ago we made reservations in the campground office and a bus picked us up near the store that evening. Then upon the conclusion of the night show it returned us to the campground....

I am not absolutely sure, but I believe not. We had a car in tow, and that's what we used....

It’s 3.5 miles from the KOa to Mt. Rushmore..uphill to Rushmore. I recommend you call the resort and ask about tour companies. I highly recommend a tour of Custer State Park....

You can rent a car directly at the campground. You can also do tours one of which was the monument at night time for the lighting. Check out their website at the KOA - loads of info on there....
