Thu Jun 06 2024My family camped at Fort Boonesboro when I was young. At that time the water quality was not so good. I don't remember if it was sediment (rusty) or sulfur. Has any of that changed? Are they on a municipal water supply now?...

We had no problem. We use a softener and filter and everything was good. Just bring a second fresh water hose. The run to the water hydrant can be long....

We also had no problem with the water and use a filter and softener as well. No sure if it is municipal water supply or not. I always run a bit of water out of the spigot before attaching our water hose in case there is some rust or sediment in the line from sitting. As Matthew Herk mentioned, the run to the water can be long so best to bring a second fresh water hose just in case....
