Downtown Florence has a 100 year old ice cream parlor, Trowbridge. Awesome ice cream. Across the river, Tuscumbia also has an ice cream parlor downtown. Tips from campers about McFarland Park Campground
- Retirementrvdream Downtown Florence has a 100 year old ice cream parlor, Trowbridge. Awesome ice cream. Across the river, Tuscumbia also has an ice cream parlor downtown. Ivy Green, Helen Kellers birthplace is a great place to visit. The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is fun. You can also take tours of Fame Recording Studios. The visitors center at the entrance of McFarland Park has a lot of great information about the area. If you like waterfalls, there is a beautiful fall at the TVA Rock Pile Recreation Area. The fall is called Wilson Dam Waterfall. You have to walk along Rock Pile Road towards Wilson Dam.6 months ago McFarland Park Campground
