“Beautiful Denali Park”

Beautiful Denali park but no site services there is a dump and potable water at Riley camp ground We camped at Riley Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Nice hike from campground up Riley Creek, a beautiful mountain stream. Continue up the Triple Lakes Trail for views of surrounding scenery. Shuttles provide free access up to 15 miles into the park. Utilizing the shuttle, I took an extremely windy but excellent hike up the Savage Alpine Trail.

The Denali National Park tour buses can be a little confusing, especially to someone with motion sickness like me. If you DO plan to get off and hike, reserve the East Fork Transit buses. “Trees and privacy!”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
The campsites are spacious with trees for privacy. Its an easy walk to the mercantile for supplies. Quiet and peaceful. We camped at Riley Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Take a bus tour intoThe closed section of the park. We saw a grizzly, caribou and moose on the ride. Visit the sled dogs and watch the demonstration. Its free!
