“Excellent operation and layout of a large campground”
Nightly Rate: $47 CAD
Because Jasper is a popular destination, had to book in late January 2024 (the earliest I could) and wait in line on the website for 45 minutes. In order to stay there four days with full hook ups, I...

Tip for Other Campers:
Don't take your trailer into town other than to pass through. Gas stations are not large enough to accommodate you. It is possible to park on the main road, but it is difficult to find room. Laundromats are in areas where parking is very difficult to find....
“An incredible campground, surrounded by mountain peaks, mind blowing landscape, daily elk visits!”
Nightly Rate: $37 USD
This place is like a well oiled machine. Super easy to drive in and out. A bunch of dump sites for on your way out. Elk visits daily, black bear, grizzly bears not uncommon to see them. Free wood for...

Go the the national park often. There is a ton of hikes to do there. Jasper is near by, for all the goods you will need. Icefields Hwy near by is a must do. Google waterfalls and you will not run out of things to do. This place requires multiple visits. It is mind blowing beautiful!...
Tips from campers about Whistlers Campground, Jasper National Park
- MW91301 This tip is for lots of places. We purchased the Gypsy app for 1 phone. It runs on GPS and was fantastic. For the Canadian Banff and Jasper areas was about 22$ we covered all the routes in about 5 days. The app narrates to you withy suggested routes, history of subject and area, advises where approaching turnouts, gives suggestions to help navigate. It was like having your own private tour guide.
- Dave51 Maligne Canyon and the Wilcox Pass trails were are favorite hikes in Jasper.
- Liz and Bryan Walked into Jasper from park, took about 45 minutes or so, easy walk. Several good restaurants, recomend Alba for Italian, a bit pricey but good.

“A big, wide-open campground with mountain views, just minutes from Jasper town.”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
We stayed 4 nights (a few days before the wildfire evacuation). Too bad they lost so many trees to the pine bark beetle. Still, the views were impressive. Full hookups worked well. Ranger staff was...

Tip for Other Campers:
To reserve sites in Jasper or Banff NP find out when opening day is (it was late Jan. In 2024). I was online, ready to go right at the opening and still had 25,000 people ahead of me!! I got the very last available site. At Banff NP, there were 30,000 ahead of me and I got one of a few remaining....
“Damaged by fire”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
After a great week at Whistlers, we were driven out by fire July 22-23. Im sure this park will bounce back in time, but until then, check things out carefully before camping. We camped at Whistlers...

Tip for Other Campers:
Once this reopens, there will be many great hikes and car trips. Maligne canyon was a great drive to see wildlife like elk. Go see glacier at Edith Cabela. Spectacular example of a hanging glacier. While youre in the neighborhood, spend some time at Athabasca Falls, and get out and the them from several perspectives....

Question:
We will be leaving Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court and driving to Whistler with our 30 foot travel trailer. RV navigation is trying to send us back to Calvary, up to Edmonton then over to Whistler. Is there a reason we can't take 93 Icefield Parkway?...

“Plenty of Space”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
The mountains and forests as your backdrop, it's hard to go wrong. The individual campsite spaces were great. We could clearly see our neighbors, but no one felt squeezed together. On our side of the...
