Question: I’ve been advised this park is at the top of Lookout Mountain. Is it possible/wise to attempt to get a 40’ Rv Mobilehome with 4 slides up there? Thank you.
Answer:
Take Hwy 35 - it is 2 miles up hill to the park access road, then 6 miles fairly level to the park. No real issues for our 33" class A with a toad. This is not "The" Lookout Mountain, just part of the mountain ridge....
Question: Is this campground open in November? We will be traveling to South Carolina and looking for stops along the way. Thanks in advance

According to their website they close October 31st....
Question: Does the beach access and pool come with the monthly rental?
Answer:
Yes it is included in the rental cost....
Question: Is there a place you recommend in Montrose to fill up with water before camping and to dump afterward?
Answer:
The KOA in Montrose will let you dump - for a fee. Do not know about filling water. Give them a call and ask....
