Stayed 2 nights traveling through. Had items stolen out of our trailer as well as other campers had vehicle broken into and one person had their door busted into while they were gone during the day....

Good amount of service in town. IGA, WALMART,NAPA, TIRE STORES, FORD & CHRVY DEALER, ETC.

- DK-Trips Dont depend on the Internet here. Cell phones work some of the time but not all the time. Thats the only drawback to this great park.2 years ago Loud Thunder Forest Preserve
- IA_Travelers Firewood at the ranger station was $6/ea or 2 for $10. Bring bug spray - mosquitoes were pesky and the second night we got a ton of chiggar bites. Not great viewing for stars due to closeness to QCA and Muscatine. Great park for nature-lovers, horseback riders, and those wanting to do water activities.
