“Great view of the Superstition Mountains”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Water and electric available. Some sites have fire pits. Dry camping also available. We camped at Goldfield Ghost Town Campground in a Travel Trailer.

“Lots to do! ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
We couldnt get a FHU site so we dry camped. The sites were good sized and well spaced but we were not very level. We camped at Goldfield Ghost Town Campground in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Goldfield Goldmine was a hoot. We ride the train and walked through the town. The food was good. We went to Tortilla Flats and that was fun and visited the Lost Dutchman museum. We also did the 4x4 tour. I would recommend all of these. We used this as a central point to visit Mesa, Gilbert and Phoenix.
Tips from campers about Goldfield Ghost Town Campground
- Jelly Bean 4 Goldfield Goldmine was a hoot. We ride the train and walked through the town. The food was good. We went to Tortilla Flats and that was fun and visited the Lost Dutchman museum. - LizzyWA Come in midday when spots tend to open up, if there are any (have back-up plans). Make sure and visit Goldfield next door - it's free to explore, but tours cost just a little. Come with full water & empty tanks. Spectacular sunrises over the mountains. There are stores, gas, restaurants in nearby Apache Junction, but the restaurant food is good in Goldfield.
