Question: Hello all, I can't find the best directions to the famcamp. Previous famcamps have stated certain gate to get to the fampcamp. I would like your imput, please for those that have been to Maxswell famcamp!!!!!!!!
Answer:
It is a little complicated. If coming from I-65, take exit 171. Go west on Day St. Until you get to the (sharp) right turn to get to Bell St to go back east on Bell Street. Take a left into the Kelly St. Entrance to the base. AFTER passing through the gate (you can't make the left turn here) immediately go right onto the "side loop" to go around and turn left back onto Kelly St. So that you are going back south on Kelly St. Toward the gate. Then just before the gate, immediately take the right hand turn (west) onto March Street. Follow March Street all the way out to the famcamp. This is how we had to get to it....

Tip for Other Campers:
Look for Wonder Mountain Fun Park - it shares the entrance road with the campground. You have to speak to staff through the gate box to have them let you in to check-in.
