Tip for Other Campers:
If coming from the west on I-10, don't listen Google. Dragoon Rd is rougher and more winding that AZ 191.

Staff is pleasant. Site was not pull through. It was kind of weird how we were placed in front of some residents that had very clean RVs and vehicles. Safe and clean. We camped at Goldminers RV park...

“Nice park, very nice owners”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
It is a basic gravel park in the middle of the desert, but there are many trees and the sites are long and pretty level and nicely spaced out. The owners are very sweet and helpful. Close to Cochise's...

If you have a high clearance vehicle (several shallow stream crossings), highly recommend the 30 minute trip up into Cochise's Stronghold, and take the short hikes starting from the campground.

Tip for Other Campers:
You will be out in the middle of nowhere (which we were fine with and prepared) but just know that they are very few things like groceries nearby. They do offer propane filling so we topped off when we checked out.

Wonderful couple, Cindy and Gregg, made us feel very welcome during our four-night stay. It's a great location for visiting the Chiricahua National Monument and the Cochise Stronghold. Concrete pad...

Under His Wings 333 is just across the road from the RV park and has excellent pizza. They also offer ice cream and coffee drinks, but we were in the mood for pizza. Don't miss the scenic drives and hikes at both Cochise Stronghold and Chiricahua National Monument. We only hiked a few miles at each place, but even if you can't hike, the scenery along the...
