Nothing to complain about at all! We camped at Ben Avery Shooting Facility Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Ben Avery Shooting Facility Campgrounds
- Don Bowen No fast food chains in the town. It is truly a one horse but quaint town. Two restaurants (open at 5 pm) available are End Zone Bar & Grill, which we ate at. It feels like a bowling alley diner but the food was great. The owner, who was great) even gave us a sample plate of his specialty Chislic dish, deep-fried cubes of mutton, lamb, beef or venison prepared rare to medium-rare, sprinkled with garlic salt or other seasoned salt, and served with toothpicks. A different kind of taste but Good! The other restaurant was the Brewery Bar and Grill, which we did not try.

If you are going to shoot in the general range I would suggest the east camp ground, you can just walk across the street. Shootgun, long range rifles or cowboy shooters (with or without horses) use the central camp grounds for ease of access. Ben Avery is a shooting range so shoot. Lots of retail and restaurants along I-17.

Tip for Other Campers:
Close to Hwy 17, Sam's Club, Costco and Walmart just down the hill about 20 minutes. Great shopping area just across the Hwy. Home depot, restaurants and grocery store
