Groceries, restaurants, fuel, and other shopping a short drive away. Fort St James national historic site (about 60 km north) features an historic Hudson's Bay fur trading fort from the 19th century.

Tip for Other Campers:
We stayed at the back near the river, not realizing there was a public walking path behind (totally my bad for not checking closer.. Lovely path!). We have a leash reactive dog, so wasn't ideal for us.

Tip for Other Campers:
There is a paved bike path which runs along the levee built beside the Sheep River. It connects to bike paths in town and on the other side of the hwy. There is a nice little farmer's market on the main street on Thursdays in the summer months.
