“Very nice”
Nightly Rate: $125 USD
I gave 4 stars because the spots are individually owned and the amenities are limited to the owners. Renters have very little amenities...the pool is ok to use but they closed it the day before we...

Tips from campers about Big Bear Shores RV Resort
- Wallace DnS If you want to go to Yosemite, this campground is worth it. It is a beautiful location and awesome things to do. I have stayed at all three of the Pines campgrounds and I prefer North Pines.9 months ago North Pines Campground
- Char Ryan Be sure to bring bikes to visit sites and travel throughout the valley. Pizza was good at Camp Curry. The Valley Floor 2-hour tour was awesome. It begins at Yosemite Lodge. Purchase your tickets ahead of time.9 months ago North Pines Campground
- JRLooney Dump station is at Upper Pines campground - nearby. If you refill fresh like I do, using 7gal jugs, bathhouse in North Pines has potable water outside11 months ago North Pines Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Take Hwy 38 coming up. Probably added another 30 minutes onto our trip but worth avoiding hair pin turns and super steep grades (Hwy 38 has a 6% grade in spots and a lot of turn outs).
“Be careful renting or buying”
Nightly Rate: $110 USD
We have stayed multiple times as renters and ultimately bought a lot because it's close to home. I regret doing that. They bad mouth renters all the time, as if they are second class citizens. It is...

These are beautifully maintained sites, however we had several issues. I called several days before arrival to ask if we could add a night. I left messages on the resort number and with both owners. 3...
