We drove to Lake Tahoe because we had the time and had a pleasant drive around the lake and then back.

Cleanliness

Avoid this place. We were with a group of friends with whom we camp on a regular basis. We have fun and can be a little loud, but always respect the quiet time restrictions and don't play loud music....

Stayed during Memorial Day weekend. The park is far from everything, closest town had a population of 200, no cell nor Wi-Fi for the teens. Most camp driveways were a bit short and narrow....

Great park. The hot springs pool is inexpensive and open daily. Well-spaced sites allow lots of privacy. Nice hikes in the area. We camped at Grover Hot Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.
