“Clean, well maintained park - boondocking only (No Hookups)”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Very clean park, easy access, 5 minutes from Lake Hemet, 15 minutes to Idyllwild. The park nearly empty (only 10 spaces occupied out of 130), that made it a very quiet, pleasant stay... I imagine at...

Tip for Other Campers:
Watch the weather reports - it was nice (70 deg) in early November, but down to 32 at night. If you need you Solar Panels to charge your batteries (since you are boondocking) avoid parking under a nice shade tree (ask me how I know).

Tips from campers about Hurkey Creek
- NurseAmerica Walmart and Sams are close by 6-7 mins away.3 weeks ago Albuquerque KOA Journey
- John&Mary The park is very close to the National Nuclear Museum which is very interesting. On the other side of Albuquerque there is also the National Petroglyph Park which provided a good hike and viewing of ancient art works. Old Town Albuquerque provides a fun time of souvenir shopping and dining. We tried to ride the tram up Sandia Peak and eat at the 3Ten restaurant but it was closed due to high winds.1 month ago Albuquerque KOA Journey
- LR4160 Witnessed non-violent crime immediately outside the fenced, gated campground.4 months ago Albuquerque KOA Journey

Tip for Other Campers:
No dump station; however, Lake Hemet Campground is 1.0 mile down the road and we dumped there for a $12.00 fee. There is also a market there.
