- DrLewie The road leading to the causeway is narrow and twisty. A group of folks who live on that road are protesting planned addition of more campsites. They have signs up asking that the addition not be approved due to the increase of RVs on the road they fear would mean more traffic accidents. Probably a valid concern, so please obey the speed limits on that road.3 years ago Sun Outdoors Association Island
- Love At First Site The ride into Association Island is long. It passes along houses and summer cottages. Once you get past them you will get down to the water level. The road way is narrow but passable for RV's. It was about 25 minutes to Watertown where we found all the big chain stores and restaurants (Bestbuy, Longhorn, Texas Road House, etc.) We found The Zoo of NY there. Sundial bridge is pretty and has a lot of walking paths around that are really nice. If you want an amazingly good sweet treat, go to Croffle Craze Cafe!

Tip for Other Campers:
We had a concern with our truck on the day we left and stopped by Bell's Automotive nearby who took a look and told us it was something we could wait on until we got home, no charge. Appreciate the honesty and reassurance!
