Tips from campers about Tahoe City, CA
- Tom & Paula Vail Eagle Rock, just a couple of miles south, is a great hike with a view of the entire lake.7 months ago William Kent Campground
- Truckee Girl The campground is surrounded by a residential neighborhood so the sites on the outer loop will have you adjacent to some single family homes. This campground is not completely level, however, they had a great camp host that will escort you and help you into your site. This is a bear area and in the fall expect to see some bears in the campground looking to score an easy meal. The campground staff will generally chase the bear off with golf cart when these things occur just be bear aware.1 year ago William Kent Campground
- 49DAY Drive over Donner Summit via Donner Pass Road. A couple of very nice overlooks. At the summit are abandoned train tunnels, which you can walk through. Farmer's Market in Tahoe City on Thursday morning. Great selection of produce and crafts.2 years ago William Kent Campground
