Tips from campers about West Sacramento, CA
- Tbrin8412 Bring your hiking shoes or bike and enjoy the scenery. I would advise avoiding coming highway 19 from Maggie Valley, we went around and came up 441 which was a much more enjoyable drive3 years ago Happy Holiday RV Village
- Joseph R Hunt We use Trip wizard/RV life and it routed us from Ashville to Cherokee via Hwy 19 (Maggie Valley) instead of using Hwy 74 from Waynesville Hwy 74 to Cherokee which is safer for an RV. First time here several years ago, we took Hwy 19 over the Soco Mountain and it was not RV safe (narrow road in some places a 7-9 o/o up or down gradient. Much safer to use Hwy 74. We recognized that RV Life was going to send us over Hwy 19 and we stopped and turned around and went back to Hwy 74. Note somehow it change routes on us from where it started.3 years ago Happy Holiday RV Village
- JohnLoc843 I recommend splurging with a site next to the stream. It's pretty special having a campfire next to the stream at night.2 years ago Happy Holiday RV Village
