Tip for Other Campers:
Walmart, downtown, Old Sacramento and riverwalk was easy drive less about 6 miles. Easy to get to with a motorcycle as well as by car.

Old Town Sacramento and capitol within a very easy drive. Close by two different freeways.
Tips from campers about Capitol West RV & MH Park
- Jim Biermann Interesting to visit the World War II artillery battery near the campground. There is an interpretive sign with a description of the battery nearby. If you walk further to the north toward the beach trail you will find a bunker built into the side of the bluff that you can walk into.
