Tip for Other Campers:
The Ghost Town itself was interesting. Mostly families there. Hubs had two meals at the restaurant and enjoyed those. It is dog friendly. Typical retail shops, t-shirts, ice cream, beer bar, dog store and a penny smasher. Theres also a short mine tour and a shorter train ride.

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much in the way of retail in the area so you better bring what you need. Peggy Sues Diner was a great surprise! Eddie World has EVERY form of penny candy you can imagine in bulk! Got a lot of stocking stuffers there!

“An Average Overnight Park By the Ghost Town”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
25ft TT / 3/4T truck. It is desert camping. Gravel and dirt sites that are mostly level. 108F in the full sun which will work the AC. But it is clean and the price includes entry into the ghost town....

The Calico ghost town is easily explored in 2 hours. The short walking mine tour was worthwhile.
