“Good urban camping”
Nightly Rate: $56 USD
This is a well kept campground. Sites are VERY CLOSE to each other. Anything you need seems to be in this state line town. We camped at Sun Resorts RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Middle of nowhere, cafe not open in winter, no grocery store.
By all means, go to Hoover dam, tour it and at least walk across the new bridge.

We stopped there for two nights after boondocking in Pasadena for the Rose Parade. Easy to find. The campground was packed because it was New Years week. The sites are very close together, all dirt,...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Ghost Town itself was interesting. Mostly families there. Hubs had two meals at the restaurant and enjoyed those. It is dog friendly. Typical retail shops, t-shirts, ice cream, beer bar, dog store and a penny smasher. Theres also a short mine tour and a shorter train ride.
“Nice, small campground, remote checkin, didnt use any facilities. ”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
We were only there for an overnight. Sites were clean, great trails and lakes for dog walks, hiking, etc. I'm sure it's very busy in the summer. We camped at Little Tallapoosa Park in a Travel...

“So much nicer than a commercial park”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Our only complaint would be that our site was very uneven, although was packed dirt. We did have a small tree on our site and a path to the beach. Our site didnt have a water view. I cant imagine the...

Tip for Other Campers:
You may want the more crowded but still nice Windsor Beach campground loop where the sites are all paved. Its probably 3xs bigger and has more beach views.
