Tips from campers about Snowy Peaks RV Park
- OlderGoat Many sites are pull-through; Plenty of trails, all dog friendly
- Campering Get reservations in advance for the cave tours
- AMacN Excellent museum in the Visitor Center, recommend doing this before a cave tour to better understand what you are seeing. Cave tours were sold out on the weekend that we were there so plan ahead. The Ranger takes ~100 people through the cave tour. It is more walking than lecturing so we did not learn much on the tour except when Ranger answered questions.

Friendly office help - informative about activities in the area. Helped with backing into site. Clean shower/restrooms. We camped at Snowy Peaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Drive to St. Elmo ghost town was was enjoyable and feeding the chipmunks was a must. Used park as base camp to site see up to Breckenridge and Leadville areas.
