Ride the train! It was well worth the money! We drove up to Silverton and Ouray. Beautiful drive! Ouray was the little Switzerland. We ate lunch and did lots of shopping.

2nd street deli for lunch was great. Mesa verde a must see. Book tour tickets on rec.gov ahead of time. Well with the $8. Per ticket.

“Wow. This Rv resort is perfect.”

The views from your site are just amazing. We were at site 18. It was away from the road. You could barely hear the road at night but only with loud cars. It is a small Rv resort which I liked. They...

It is so worth taking the Durango- Silverton Train. It was the best excursion we have been on. Dress warm if going in September.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bar d chuckwagon, the train is a must but book as early as possible ( we did the knight sky car which was great having a glass roof to really enjoy the trip. FYI. Bring a jacket cause there are no windows on the train in the summer. Mesa verde was fantastic, book cliff and balcony tours before you arrive. They were amazing.
