Tips from campers about Eglin AFB FamCamp
- Dan & Michelle Camp Robbins is across the street from the main exchange and commissary complex. The beat beaches on the planet are a 20 minute drive away. The Air Force Armament Museum is fantastic. The F-35s taking off make me miss active duty. Freedom rings!2 months ago Eglin AFB FamCamp

Question:
We are camping here in about 2 weeks, at Post Point. I know some bases have specific gates to go through, can anyone explain any restrictions, gate closings etc... (40ft Fifth wheel, GMC 3500) long and Tall. Is there a truck gate? Do they close as we may get in late. Have all my ID's to get on base normally....

Decent park. No wifi service and no cell service (Tmobile).
Close to picnic area on the bay. We camped at Eglin AFB FamCamp in a Travel Trailer.
