This was not the worst campground ever but close enough. It wasn't anywhere near the springs and was just a bunch of clearings in the woods for the RVs to park in. We are really glad it didn't rain...

Tips from campers about Ichetucknee Family Canoe and Cabins
- NewRVers2022 The nearby hike to Blue Pool is tough for older folks but the pool is so worth the effort. Incredible blue water color looking down in the pool is unmatched anywhere. Hike to Proxy Falls is short and relatively easy with two beautiful waterfalls to enjoy. Bring plenty of food because there are only two markets in the area and they have minimal choices and high prices. Very beautiful area to visit to the east but a short distance to the west the forest has been devastated by fire for miles. Really sad to see that. Tip for Other Campers:
So the North Entrance to the park for rafting is closed which we didnt know prior to our arrival. We had to disconnect and drive the RV about 5 minutes over to the South Entrance which they do have RV parking sites. We had our fur-children with us so we fired up the generator and ran the AC for them. What was nice was coming out of the relaxing river...

“Great Camp site and the host were phenomenal!! ”

Very quite if you dont want to be around a bunch of people. If youre not into the Ginnie Springs crowd this is the place to go to. We camped at Ichetucknee Family Canoe and Cabins in a Motorhome.
