  Wolf65 Beware of ticks they are known in this area, there is full sun no tree coverage. The lighthouse on montauk point is super close maybe 10 to 15 minute ride great restaurants and shops on the main rd in town also hiking trails that are not difficult with suburb views. No dogs allowed at this campground and fires are allowed on the beach

  Kermit88 Check out the picnic area behind the East area. We saw 2 great sunsets while there (Both off premises). 1) Fort Lake - free and absolutely amazing 2) Montauket - amazing!
