“Beautiful grounds and scenic kayaking! ”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
Very clean and well run. Having a concrete pad for our travel trailer was a plus. There is not much privacy between the travel trailer sites but the tent camping was beautiful with many shade trees!...

Tip for Other Campers:
We were there during Halloween celebrations so there were a lot of kids running around. Great for families but not so great if you wanted quietness or privacy. The campground had a lot of fun activities going on for Halloween!

- On the Road again 11 Food truck on weekends during season. Otherwise nothing around. Be sure to canoe the creek - be prepared for portage during dry season. Due to the amount of alligators, canoe preferrerd to kayak. Take the Knobby Knee trail - easy, scenic trail - gate is before the road to Hickory Hills - you can see it from the bathhouse.4 years ago Fish Eating Creek Outpost

Previous reviews are accurate. Great camping site, it is not a luxury RV resort. Best to be there during the week. Over the weekends the park services are over whelmed by various camp groups and the...
