Tip for Other Campers:
Avon Park & Sebring (yes, the 12 Hours Of Sebring auto race) to the east. Golfed at Sebring Municipal course & very nice since the greens have been revamped. A nice side trip is Solomon's Castle about 25 miles southeast. Very creative artist took some ranch land, hand built his own 'castle' and boat-in-a-moat restaurant nearby. A little spendy for the base...

I am not sure why we don't see any Youtube videos of this place. It is excellent! You have to be an Escapees member. It is a co-op and the lots are "owned" but some people let you stay on their lot....

Just an hour from Sarasota - and the Gulf of Mexico beaches are beautiful! The sand is like sugar.
