Easy day trip to Helen about 40min away. Neat tourist town and area. Lots of falls and hiking in the area as well....

The town of Clayton offers a lot of shopping, great eateries and a fabulous distillery at the end of town, where they make cocktails and mocktails. If you're eating at the Cuban restaurant which I highly recommend, go early or at off times they get very crowded but the food is fantastic....

Not a return. While the state park and the gorge are awesome, there is a lack of anywhere to eat in the immediate area. 10 miles away, but excellent roads....
