Tips from campers about Clayton, ID
- Louise Arata We ended up getting COVID symptoms before we arrived and searched on the internet for the nearest pharmacy when we arrived. The gentleman in the office was so nice and actually made an appt at a clinic in town, the same day we were seen and got paxlovid. What service!!!6 months ago Torrey's Resort RV Park
- Erica Sparkles The afternoon wind is NO JOKE. It comes out of nowhere, but is also guaranteed to happen EVERY DAY. Heed their advice on awnings and secure things around the campsite. Rent a Rzr for a whole day if you don't have an OHV. It's only like $50 more for full day vs half. Make sure your path takes you to the mine entrance that's a "refrigerator". It's literally so cool. It was 90F out and it was cooling us with probably 40F air. Go to the Stanley museum. Free, quick, and the cold storage room was a unique experience. Don't get a milkshake from Sawmill Station until the last day... because otherwise you'll end up wanting one every day. Ask me how I know. :) They don't gouge gas prices. Diesel was a couple cents cheaper here than in Challis.7 months ago The Sawmill Station
