“Nice place to stay for a few days”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Level gravel FHU sites. Good utilities. Friendly staff. Clean and spacious restrooms and showers. Close to all that Twin forks has to offer. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is great for a few days. The owners are very nice and were always onsite. They received packages for us from UPS and USPS. As helpful as they could be. The laundry area is very nice and...

Tips from campers about Oregon Trail Campground
- Edies On nice days you may see some base jumpers at the bridge. We checked out Shoshone Falls and the lake next to it, Evel Knievel canyon jump site, Box Canyon, Balance Rock (quite impressive compared to other "balance rocks"), Kayaked with our own kayak from Ritter Island to Blue Heart Springs. Use google maps to locate the springs when kayaking, it is not obvious at all and quite the paddle but the water is stunningly clear. Also kayaked completely around Ritter Island as was suggested somewhere but it was too shallow at the end as you paddle pass the farm toward the bridge so we should not have done that.2 years ago Oregon Trail Campground
- MommaBriggs All the falls in the area are a must. Great bike trail along the river. Be careful of goat heads! Keeping your bike on the paved trail and off the grassy areas is paramount. We had never heard of goat heads and learned the hard way with four flat bike tires! Also, the trail gets very steep as you get closer to Shoshone Falls Park. People in the town are super friendly. Watching the bridge base jumpers was entertaining. Twin Falls has lots of beautiful areas.3 months ago Oregon Trail Campground

“Great Campground to Explore Twin Falls”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
We came to Twin Falls following 2.5 busy weeks in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. This was a great place for us to reset and rest. Check in was easy and the owner gave me a map and made some great...

Tip for Other Campers:
We recommend TF Sandwich Company and Koto Brewing. There is a small Costco and a regular Walmart nearby. Check out Shoshone Falls and definitely watch the base jumpers at Perrine Bridge. South Market was just okay (bbq option)maybe we just picked the wrong place.
“Older campground, good jumping off point”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
This is an older campground with what appears to be a lot of people living here instead of being Rv'ers. Single lane road to get in and out. Nothing very pleasant about the grounds. Utilities work....

Tip for Other Campers:
We were only there for a night, but we went to both sets of Falls. We had an excellent dinner at a restaurant overlooking the Snake River. Called Elevation 486. It was phenomenal. We got there for happy hour and were seated outside, we decided to wait for dinner but the options for happy hour were fantastic as well.

Check out the Twin Falls visitor center. You can watch bass jumpers, jump off the Perrine Bridge. If you anre there around September 11 or the following week, youll see the giant flag they unveil at a 9/11 ceremony, that drapes across the canyon. Dont forget to go check out the Evel Knievel launch site, if you are old enough to have watched that on TV....
