While you are in the area in general, I hope you are a fried chicken fan....this area of the state is famous for it.You'll want to visit Oldenburg for this. Tip for Other Campers:
Brookville and Liberty both offer some good restaurants if you're not in the mood to cook. When booking a site make sure the pad is long enough for your rig. If you can bring your own firewood in, pretty expensive at the check-in shack....

- Niki & Craig Green Lake is a cute town on Big Green Lake a few miles away. Ripon is a few miles down the road and has a wonderful Websters grocery store, Ace Hardware, Walgreens.2 years ago Green Lake Campground

- Sam Cryer Go to Mecan River Outfitters & Lodge in Princeton, WI and kayak (or Canoe) the Mecan river. It is a great paddle and very relaxing. There are several Antique Shops in Princeton to visit as well. If you head East from the campground you will head to Ripon, WI which is a small college town and has a few attractions. Green Lake itself is a nice little town and worth the short trip in to see it. Fishing charters are available or rent a pontoon and see the lake.4 years ago Green Lake Campground

The Mounds SRA is beautiful but quite dated. The showers in showerhouse by E section dont work. We were in section E and have a nice site, with trees but not too level. Level is a hard thing to find...
