- Alphabet Soup 1. Marengo cave is just down the road, it was very hot that week, so we purchased the two cave tours and spent some time underground where it was a nice 60ish degrees.2.Vans Country Table is right by Marengo cave, the food was great. Get the Broasted Chicken!3. Louisville Ky is about an hour away, we took a ride and visited the Louisville Slugger Factory. Took the tour for a second time, still good.3.1. We ate at Marks Feed Store - BBQ pretty good, get the Buttermilk Pie!4. Lincolns Boyhood National Memorial is about an hour away. Nice history lesson for the kids. There are trails, and real working farm that shows what life would have been like for a young Abraham Lincoln. Lincolns mother is buried here.5. While we were there in July the town of English had a carnival in town. We went and had a blast.7 months ago Sycamore Springs Park

Is this a religious place? I like the idea all the playgrounds and the quiet, we have 7 kids, but I’m not looking for a conversion camp.....
