Site 54 is very close to a water spigot. The Clifty Inn breakfast buffet is a bit pricey, but tasty!

Great hikes in the park. We saw almost all the waterfalls. We loveTo hike but walking poles are really helpful especially with the trails are narrow and near the edge of the canyon.We also biked down to historic Madison if you can get to the Madison Heritage Trail which starts behind the state hospital. - Wolf65 Beware of ticks they are known in this area, there is full sun no tree coverage. The lighthouse on montauk point is super close maybe 10 to 15 minute ride great restaurants and shops on the main rd in town also hiking trails that are not difficult with suburb views. Hike, drive, or bike up to the Clifty Inn for a beautiful view of the river. Sit out back at the patio for a nice relaxing afternoon. Visit the nature center for a small little lesson of local animals and history. Visit the town of Madison for some bites, coffee, shops.
