Tips from campers about Lincoln, KS

  • Roy Machado While in the area go see the Chickasaw Cultural Center. Absolutely stunning architecture and scenery. Also check out the Travertine Nature Center and Little Niagara falls. The town of Sulphur is small but it has a Walmart, gas stations and restaurants.
  • KenD-01 There are a number of springs to visit and good hiking trails. Good birding too! The local dumping station location isnt immediately intuitive. As you leave the Loop C and D campgrounds, take a left on Buckhorn Road towards the boat ramp. The dumping stations are about a mile on the right.
  • sun47me1208 We did a lot of walking in the trails of Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Visited the Antelope, Buffalo, Hillside, Pavilion and black sulphur spring ( dried up)
