“Simple and quiet.”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
The drive into the park was a little scary to me as it looked pretty rough. Don't let it scare you. This park is small and could use some updates but overall is a good place to stay. We parked next to...

Stayed here 3 nights. Beautiful location, great value, stable hookups. Had a great time right against the ocean! We camped at Burns Point Boat Launch & Rv Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Highway 90 is absolutely awful, and from all of my travels I can say it is the worst for a Class A RV.
Tips from campers about Burns Point Boat Launch & Rv Campground
- Kansas Rose Nice walking trail by the harbor.3 years ago Dancing Fire Glamping and RV Resort
- HeslinJensen The downtown pier / restaurants quite nice to visit, as well as the farmers market on Saturday. It was Saturday and not a lot of businesses were open. The local hardware store was great, also the antique shop- huge and loads of variety.8 months ago Dancing Fire Glamping and RV Resort
- Edies Great location for going any direction and for biking. We did nice bike rides down to the Blue Water Bridge area and all along the water. Biked to Vantage Point which was where we watched the "Float down" from as well as hit the Farmer's Market. Do the River Walk from Vantage Point south. It's not long but has some fun art displays. Some nice shops downtown and the typical chain stores and restaurants at the north end, Fort Gratiot.

I wouldn't camp so close to the dock next time, but that is just me.

We had mixed feelings about this CG so I'll do a pros/cons list. Note that we are full-time RVers (3 yrs on the road so far) so the items listed below are with that in mind.Pros: Peaceful,...

The paved road to the CG is about sixteen miles off the highway. It's mostly smooth until you get to the actual entrance, then be careful. There are no facilities on this road.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is off LA90 on LA 317 for 15 miles. Narrow road and winding but dead ends at the campground. Not close to shopping but if you want seaside you cant beat it.
