Beautiful sunsets, variety of fish to catch, along with other wildlife passing through. The caretakers, Bil and Jim, are nice and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. We stayed here for 5...

The drive into the park was a little scary to me as it looked pretty rough. Don't let it scare you. This park is small and could use some updates but overall is a good place to stay. We parked next to...

Tips from campers about Burns Point Boat Launch & Rv Campground
- carolinalaska When leaving Valdez, drive up Thompson Pass almost to the very top and park at first parking lot to the left. Walk across the road to the right and up the mountain. This is the best place to experience an Alaskan Mountain Range.9 years ago Allison Point Campground
- KayLynnFarley Bear spray and mosquito spray are a must. Rocks near the water are extremely slick!9 months ago Allison Point Campground
- Coddiwompleak Watch for bears in the area. Nice bike path along Dayville Road. Stop at the fish hatchery and watch the Sea Lions feast on salmon.9 months ago Allison Point Campground

Stayed here 3 nights. Beautiful location, great value, stable hookups. Had a great time right against the ocean! We camped at Burns Point Boat Launch & Rv Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Highway 90 is absolutely awful, and from all of my travels I can say it is the worst for a Class A RV.

Tip for Other Campers:
The paved road to the CG is about sixteen miles off the highway. It's mostly smooth until you get to the actual entrance, then be careful. There are no facilities on this road.
