Tip for Other Campers:
If coming from the south, Google maps will try to direct you to take LA-518 to get to LA-146 and the campground. However, LA-518 is closed approaching LA-146 due to a bridge out, apparently for 6 months or more according to a local. Hard to believe the state park did not post a detour sign there over top of their own sign directing you to take that road....
