The park is beautiful with all the trees. We stayed in site 34. Plenty of area for our dog to run. Neighbors were extremely friendly and quiet. Close to a lot of plantations we wanted to visit. Mr...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Francis, and Iron Horse were our favorite places to eat. All the plantations we visited were awesome. Port Hudson battle field was great. (Watch out for the mosquitoes there.) All the flowers were in full bloom.
Tips from campers about Peaceful Pines RV Park
- PR and Pat Oliver Be sure to try the Greenbriar Restraunt. We had catfish and hush puppies. Great food but it is 20 to 25 minutes from the campground. Decatur is bigger than you might think and it is a long trip to Walmart.2 years ago Jay Landings RV Park
- OlePhart Post office and Walmart is not too far away, as is some 'eating places'.4 years ago Jay Landings RV Park
- Lini The Hard Dock restaurant at the Riverwalk Marina was fun. It has live bands and a deck that overlooks the Tennessee River and Highway 31. It was interesting to watch all the boats.9 years ago Jay Landings RV Park
