Worst place I have stayed at. Electricity turns off twice a day and water smells like it comes from the sewer system. Manager rude. Rather stay at a landfill then go back there again. We camped at...

Mtmoi Houmas House across the river presented the fancy lifestyle of the ante bellum rich and famous (best seen with a mint julep from the Turtle House in hand). Sophisticated cooking at DJ's in Vacherie or you can order a pizza there, also.

This park is right below the Sunshine Bridge. Easy in and out. I stayed here while working in the area. Many guests here are traveling workers at local plants.Park is very basic but nice....
