  Capt Gerry The battlefield is the primary attraction here. The Delta Explorer offers several different tours. We enjoyed the 3-hour tour of the rivers and Port of Mobile. The campground is about 8 miles from Spanish Fort, where you can find Walmart, Lowes, Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply and other shopping/dining opportunities. Sams Club is another couple of miles in Daphne, Al. Mobile and Gulf shores are close as well and offer lots to do.

  Walden Wanderers #1) We had a tasty seafood lunch at the Original Oyster House on the causeway between Mobile and Spanish Fort. About a 10 minute drive from the park. #2) Wilson's Service Center, on Spanish Fort Blvd, will refill propane tanks.
