So many things to do, we wish we had more time and better weather. That said some of our favorite trails - Angel Falls - very strenuous but short. We had 4 water crossings which were challenging but well worth the falls at the end. Bald mountain was a great hike but again - pretty rugged. Lots of climbing over rocks, tree roots, mud and more mud, and water....

No big stores nearby. An IGA in Rangeley (8 mi) is main grocery. Oquossoc Market has convenience groceries and great sandwiches. Rangeley Lakes Builder's Supply for hardware.
