“Great Campground - Lots of ATV Noise - Read if Visiting Baxter”
Nightly Rate: $32 USD
We stayed at site 23 (Back-in, Power & Water) in our 39ft Motorhome. We originally booked site 13 but they switched us out for site 23 since it would've been a tight fit. We're thankful they did, our...

Tip for Other Campers:
30 Minutes from the north entrance of Baxter State Park but 2 hours from popular hikes located by the south entrance. It does cost $16 a day to enter the state park for out of state visitors. There's a grocery store in Patten. Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument is close by.
“Very nice campground”

Lots of farm stands and Amish goods in the area. We went to Baxter State Park and Katahdin Woods and Waters for hiking.

- Michael_6480a7bfb274b Stookies in Thorntown has good steaks and is know for their battered onion rings. Danny Js is a great place for pizza but it is hard to get thru on the phone to order, they are carry out only. Pizza King is good as well.6 months ago Old Mill Run Park Campground
- KDI24 1. If you are coming from Indianapolis : There is still construction at the intersection of HWY 52 and 47 -> GPS still make you do a U turn at the next intersection. We just took the next available road on the left (W 650 N, not even half a mile after) which brings you in the back of Thorntown and we did not have any issues on this side road ( we have a travel trailer, but there was enough space for a motorhome and a 5th wheel). 2. 45 min : Indianapolis speedway, mostly highways the entire time 3. 15 min from Lebanon -> the Americana pub was nice and the Klooz Brews.9 months ago Old Mill Run Park Campground

Small very clean and peaceful camp ground. 50 amp power and good water. On site restaurant with small but adequate offerings. Large rig accessible with very roomy sites. The one drawback is that they...

There is no dog park but plenty of area to take them for walks and activities. Main recreation here is trails and miles of 4 wheeling trails. Swimming at the small beach tat is right down the road or in the creek that runs along the campground boarder.

Cost is a guess, as I do not remember. No real discounts available (GS, PA, etc.) This park is older and very basic. Grass sites that aren't necessarily level, older electric, no sewer and dump...
