Tip for Other Campers:
You MUST see White Sands at sunset. Get there early and give yourself some time to enjoy it because once the sun goes down, park rangers go in and clear everyone out. For us that meant we needed to be out of the park and back on the highway by 5:45 in January.
“Close to Roswell”

We stayed at site 7 in our 39ft motorhome. We HARDLY fit into our site. I would not suggest this site for bigger rv's and trailers. We camped at Bottomless Lakes State Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Roswell is really pet friendly, bring your pups with you for fun photo ops. We didn't realize until we were going in everywhere and saw signs encouraging people to bring their dogs in as well so they're not left to the elements.
