Tips from campers about Virden Lions Club Campground
- Moseyin Definitely visit bayfield and the apostle Islands.6 months ago Kreher Park
- rvlife_689 Get a cinnamon roll and sourdough bread from Ashland baking company. Check out the ore docks next to the campground. You can walk or bike there. Had a great apple pie from Erickson orchards up in Bayfield. Go to the co-op and super one foods for groceries.6 months ago Kreher Park
- Rosie23 Apostle Island boat cruise. Kayak if you like kayaking. Bike walking trail right there at park. Cute little town has a lot of painted murals having to do with their history.6 months ago Kreher Park

“quiet campsite”
Nightly Rate: $25 CAD
Run by local Lyons Club. Nice level grassy sites. Some seasonal but mostly short stay. We camped at Virden Lions Club Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Direct access for Tans Canada HWY currently closed for bridge replacement, but can be accessed by going though town. Looked like good RV wash center in town.
