“This location is very near the commuter rail!”

Spacious Skies MM was our second Spacious Skies stop this fall. As always, the service provided by customer care and the office folks is top-notch. If you need a place to stay that is close to the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Chip Shots right outside the park has good food and cold beers, we also played a round on the golf simulator. We also enjoyed beers at Dirigible brewing not far away. Easy access to Boston about 40 minutes drive....
Tips from campers about Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Minute Man
- ReneeAddy Lowell National Historical Park is wonderful. Give yourself a full day or more to explore this park -- there is a trolley tour and a canal-boat tour. The Minuteman National Historical Park is also well worth a visit. And the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site is delightful -- there is a 2 PM ranger-led tour offered on the weekends.
- MEdwardR The Minuteman National Historic Park is a must-do. Especially Concord and the Battle Road. Visit Salem but avoid the schlocky "witch museum/tour" hot mess unless you have money to burn. Walking the streets and the waterfront and having a relaxed streetside meal should be enough. Find the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord, look hard, use Google and you'll eventually find the graves of Henry David Thoreau, Alisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Nathanial Hawthorne close together and covered with writing pencils tossed onto graves by admirers. The National Historic Site in Lowell explains the history and dynamics of the textile mills and the early 19th century industrial revolution.
- Joanna5g Minuteman National Historical Park was very interesting with a full day's worth of things to see. They also offer lots of interpretive programs. We enjoyed riding our bikes along Battle Road Trail to take in many of the historic sights. Look for Kimball Farm on Route 110. You won't miss it if you drive by on a weekend because it will be packed with cars and people standing in line for ice cream! It started as an ice cream stand and has grown into a huge amusement park with a country store, pony rides, bumper boars, mini-golf, and a lot more.

Nightly Rate: $70 USD
This campground does what it can for the small, cramped spaces of Metro Boston. Unfortunately, the roads are tight and narrow, there are obstacles everywhere, and while we were there, we saw another...
