“Nice Campground in the middle of nowhere.”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Nice sites, for the most part. Some are closer together than others. Each comes with homemade (rocks) fireplaces & picnic tables. Half of the park has W/E/S hook-up; the other half just W/E. Some tent...

Tip for Other Campers:
Since this campground is located about 15 miles out of town, from stores & restaurants - either come prepared to stay for the week, or travel into town to stock up on stuff. Dalton, MA is about 10 miles out; Pittsfield, MA, about 15 miles, depending upon a few routes in/out. Local roads are either paved or hard-packed dirt. Can't vouch for overhead wire...

This is not a "big rig" park. The first clue are the overhanging branches trying to knock off your air conditioner the last two miles into the park. If that were not enough, the bridge into the park...

Tip for Other Campers:
This is a place to visit if you have family nearby. Not much else to do here that I could find. However, the campground does have a Saturday night steak dinner.

- countrygirlinboots Dollar General about 4 miles away. Call to make sure you are on a lot big enough for a big rig. Also, a lot of the lots are in the shade with lots of narrow areas and many sites are on big hills. If you want sunny lots be by the field or call to make sure there is sun.10 months ago Rose Lake Park Campground

The park is open and spacious. It is old and needs major upgrade. The 30 amp service we had was suffering from low voltage. We were supposed to get a full hookup. The only full hookup was in a...

Tip for Other Campers:
The campground is on a steep winding road. When going to the campground do not depend on your GPS. It could take you on some extremely steep, winding, narrow roads.
This was an OK campground. They need to do some work on their roads, they are gravel and have huge washout spots. We were almost afraid we wouldn't get our rig out of there. Our main complaint...
